Power Flush

Symptoms which indicate that a central heating system would benefit from a power flush are:

· Radiator water is dirty and discoloured.

· System is slow to warm up.

· Some radiators are partially or completely cold.

· Radiators need frequent bleeding.

· 'Kettling' noises from boiler.

· Repeated pump failures.

· The boiler knocks and bangs, especially at start up.

· The central heating header tank is warm, or even hot.

· Age: Systems over 10 years old will have a build up of corrosion.
